LED PLANTER
Task
My task was to produce an LED planter out of ABS plastic that meets specific guidelines, the main one being the inclusion of 3x 100mm by 100mm pots. The planter needed to incorporate LED lighting and explore the relationship between light and shadow while being a grow light to its plants.

Construction
The process was time-consuming, especially when it came to cutting and sanding each individual piece by hand. The most difficult part of constructing the planter was building the pots and drilling the drainage system, those two steps consumed a lot of mental energy and required extensive thinking. The LEDs were a challenge to solder due to having little room to work within the pots, but building the planter overall was simultaneously fun and tedious. It was fulfilling to watch it come together piece by piece.
